Brownies Fudgey Chocolate
Ingredients
1 Cup Butter
4 Squares (4 ounces) Unsweetened Chocolate
2 Cups Sugar
4 Eggs
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp vanilla extract (I add 1/2 tsp almond extract)
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Nuts - optional
1/2 Cup+ Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips - optional
Instructions
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease rectangular pan - 9x13x2 inches. In large microwave-proof bowl place butter and unsweetened chocolate; microwave at High for 1 - 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. With wooden spoon, stir in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating with spoon until blended. Stir in flour, vanilla, (almond), and salt until blended. Stir in nuts, if desired. Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan. Cut into bars.
