Coriander-Garlic Chutney
Another winning recipe from our favorite Indian food chef - Laura. This is a basic corriander chutey, green and tangy and is very easy to prepare. Serve as a dip or a spread for sandwiches.
Chutney: a thick sauce of Indian origin that contains fruits, vinegar, sugar, and spices and is used as a condiment
Ingredients
Cilantro (Coriander) – 1 large bunch, including stemsGarlic – 5 large cloves
Green Chilies – 2 to 3 or to taste
Tamarind Pulp – to taste
Salt – to taste
Sugar – pinch
Water – very little if needed to help grinding process
Oil – 1 tsp
Instructions
1. Place all ingredients in a blender EXCEPT Oil and grind to a smooth paste.2. Add Oil and grind to incorporate.
