Though we make this recipe at Thanksgiving it is wonderful any time of year. Strawberry or raspberry Jell-O works just as well as cranberry.
Ingredients1 (6 ounce) package cranberry flavored Jell-O (I use Raspberry Jell-O)
2 cups boiling water
1/2 orange, peeled and chopped
1/2 pound fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped
3 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
1 cup white sugar
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Refrigerate 1/2 hour, or until it begins to gel.
2. Mix together orange, cranberries, apples and sugar. In a 9x13 inch dish, mix the gelatin, fruit mixture, celery and walnuts
3. Chill in the refrigerator 3 to 4 hours, until firm.
