Banana Nutella Dip with Pie Crust Dippers
Christmas 2019 - Archdale, NC 9 yr old grandson Eli loves Nutella. I found this quick and easy recipe that he and I could make. It is delicious and a new family favorite. When we ran out of pie crust dippers, we used pretzels.
Ingredients
1/2 cup pureed banana* (about two medium bananas)1/2 cup Nutella
8 oz Cool Whip (Lite, Original or Creamy)
Fold banana and Nutella into Cool Whip. Chill before serving.
* I strain pureed banana in a sieve for a few minutes to remove excess liquid.
Instructions
Pie Crust Dipperscookie cutters
1 refrigerated pie crust (I used Pillsbury)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Roll out the pie crust and cut out the shapes. Bake on a parchment or silicon lined baking sheet for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. You may want to rotate the tray half way through to make for even baking/browning.
Optional: Ball up the scraps, roll them out and cut out a second batch.
