Indian Fry Bread

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. milk
4 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

Directions:

Blend flour, salt and baking powder; mix well. Fold in the eggs. Make a well and add milk a little at a time mixing dough. Knead until dough mixture is formed. (add more flour if soggy). Let rest in a bowl covered with a damp towell about 20 minutes. Lightly flour surface. Place dough on surface. Cut in desired even large golf size balls rolling in hands. Shape between hands to make shapes (like fat tortillas). Fry in deep fat until puffy and golden brown. Drain on paper towells.
