The Spicey Tacos
Ingredients
Ingredients1 Lbs. 70/30 ground beef
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon oregano flakes or 1 medium onion
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1 to 1/2 smoked adobe peppers chopped fine (optional)
6oz Mild or hot Salsa
Fried Taco Shells
Garnish:
Shreadded Sharp Cheddar
Sour Cream
Limes
Hot Sauce
Tomatos
Shreadded Lettuce
Instructions
Brown meat and onions on stove top. Drain. Add dry ingredients and blend. Add Salsa. Stir and keep warm until ready to serve.Fry tortillas in hot canola or corn oil by placing them one by one in hot oil. 1st flat about 10 seconds. Then fold taco style and fry an additional 5 seconds or to desired crispness
