The Best Crispy Onion Rings

Ingredients

1 large onion (preferably Vidalia or Sweet Onion)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1/4 to 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
salt

Instructions

Beat eggs, milk and buttermilk to make a dipping batter. Cut onion rings into 1/2 pieces. Dip rings into flour, then into the batter, then flour again. Deep fry the rings at
360 degrees until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Salt to your liking.
