Best Lasagna

Ingredients

9 lasagna noodles
1 lb Italian sausafe
1 lb ground beef
3 garlic cloves, minced
50 oz tomato pasta sauce
2/3 cup water
1/4 tsp salt
1 large egg, beaten
15 oz ricotta cheese
32 oz shredded park-skim mozzarella cheese
6 oz grate parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat oven 400 degrees.
2. Cook noodles per package, drain.
3. Cook sausage, beef until done, add garlic, 1 min, drain.
4. Add tomato sauce, water. Boil, reduce to simmer uncovered, 30 min, stirring occasionally.
5. Small bowl, mix egg, ricotta cheese, salt.
6. Ungreased baking dish, later 2 cup meat sauce, noodles, 1/3 ricotta mixture, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 2 tbsp parmesan cheese.
7. Repeat layers twice.
8. Top with remaining meat sauce and cheeses.
9. For no-cook noodles - bake covered 40 min; bake uncovered 10 min.
For pre-cook noodles - bake covered 20 mins; bake uncovered 20 min.
10. Let stand 15 min before serving.
