Basic Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

2 TBS Butter
4 TBS Flour
2 cups Milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 lb. milk cheddar cheese

Instructions

In sauce pan, melt butter over low heat. Whisk in flour and salt. Whisk in milk. Turn the heat to medium and stir continuously until mixture thickens. Reduce heat to medium low and add the cheese a little at a time, continuously until sauce is smooth and creamy. Pour the hot sauce over eggs, macaroni, potatoes, or veggies
