Pizza Dough (Grant Borge's recipe)

Ingredients

1 and 1/2 cup cool water (I used bath temp warm)
1 Tb olive oil
1 egg

3 cups flour
1 Tb sugar (I use 2 tablespoons)
1 tea salt
1 Tb yeast

then up to 1 and 1/4 cups more of flour

Instructions

In a bowl mix the first 3 ingredients. In another bowl mix all dry ingredients, except for the extra 1 and 1/4 cup flour. Mix the dry in with the wet. Mix well and add 1/4 cup at a time the extra flour adding until you get the right consistency. You may not use it all. Kneed approx 6 minutes and then place dough in a oiled bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled. Divide into 4 balls for thin crust pizzas or 2 balls for thick crust. Bake 425-450 degrees for approx 10 to 15 minutes (depending on your oven and thickness of the pizza.)

This is a really good crust! Crispy outside, tender inside. Grant likes to brush the crust with a blended mixture of garlic and olive oil. He used this recipe to make pizza for the solders he was stationed with in Afghanistan.
