Key Lime Pie 2 pies


crust: for each pie
24 to 26 graham crackers crushed
1/3 cup sugar
1 stick butter melted

2 (14oz) cans sweetened condensed milk
1 1/4 cups Key Lime juice or Meyer Lemon juice
2 large eggs plus 2 egg yolks lightly beaten

16 oz sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla and 3 capfuls of Malibu Rum
1/4-1/2 c. sugar


Preheat oven to 325
Mix ingredients for crusts together with fork and press lightly into (2) 9" pie plates. Set aside
Whisk together sweetened condensed milk and eggs until well blended add lime juice blend well. Pour into crust and bake for 20 min. remove from oven let cool 30 min. add topping return to oven for 15 min. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
