Buttermilk Coffee Cake

Ingredients

2-1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup salad oil
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
1-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In medium bowl mix flour, salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, brown sugar, sugar and salad oil. Beat with electric mixer until well blended. Remove 3/4 cup of this mixture for topping and blend 1-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon into it.

To remaining batter add soda, baking powder, egg, and buttermilk. Blend until smooth. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Spoon reserved topping over batter.

Bake for 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
