German Apple Pancake

Ingredients

1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
4 cups sliced apples

Instructions

Combine sugar and cornstarch; blend in milk and butter. Reduce heat and add apples. Cook until apples are tender.

Combine eggs, flour, milk and salt. Beat until smooth.

Heat 10-inch oven-proof skillet in 450 degree oven for 5 minutes. Add margarine to coat; pour batter in immediately. Bake 10 minutes until golden)

Spoon half of sauce onto pancake. Cut into wedges; serve with remaining sauce.
