San Jacobo
A lighter, better, SPANISH cordon bleu! - Nagore Fernandez Puertas


1 slice of ham
1 slice of cheese of your choice
Bread crumbs
1 egg (that's enough for 3 or 4 San Jacobos)
Olive oil (sunflower or vegetable oil works too)


Lay down the slice of ham
Put cheese on one half of the ham, and close the ham together like a sandwich

Break egg into bowl and whisk it
Dip both sides of the ham in eggs
Dip the ham in bread crumbs to cover it

Heat pan and add olive oil
Place ham in pan with hot oil, flip over when fried
