Sandy's Panko Breaded Pork Chops
Dinner the other night was Panko Crusted Pork Chops.... I have never tasted a pork chop that was this moist and tender. It was like eating rotisserie chicken it was so fork tender! That's because of the cut of the chop, the searing of the outside and the slow cook of the inside. Out of this world good!
Ingredients
6 boneless center cut loin pork chops ...2 cups Panko
2 tablespoon garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon parsley
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil.
Instructions
Salt and pepper chops. Add panko, parsley, garlic salt, and a pinch of salt and pepper to a shallow pan or bowl. Add egg and milk to another bowl and mix well. First dip chops in egg mixture and then dredge in panko mixture and pat down so that crumbs stick.Melt olive oil and butter in skillet over medium high heat. When oil and butter starts to sizzle, sear pork chops on both sides for 3 minutes per side just to brown the panko. Turn heat to low and cover. Cook for 30-40 minutes covered. Remove from heat and serve.
