Homemade Amaretto
As giftable as it is delicious … make your own Homemade Amaretto this holiday season! McCormick® Almond and Pure Vanilla Extracts help recreate the signature flavor of the popular liquor.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups vodka
1 bottle (1 ounce) McCormick® Pure Almond Extract
2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions

Place brown sugar and water in medium saucepan. Cook and stir on medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Let stand until cooled.

Stir in vodka and extracts until well blended. Pour into a glass bottle. Store in a cool, dark place or in refrigerator.
