Anginetti Cream Puffs
This recipe . Anginetti, are made by Stella Doro, are sometimes hard to find...but they really make the recipe stand out and are necessary for the best results. One of these is never enough...they're delicious!!
I found a copycat recipe for Anginetti, by Stella Doro I included the recipe at the end. 2020 I am hoping to try the recipe and adjust as necessary
Ingredients
1 pkg stella doro anginetti3 oz cream cheese, softened
8 1/4 oz pineapple, crushed, drained
1 c cool whip
Instructions
Directions1. Slice Anginetti in two.
2. Mix cream cheese until creamy. Add crushed pineapple and cool whip. Mix well
3. Drop 1 T. of mixture on bottom of Anginetti cream puff and cover with the top portion. Super easy and so delicious!

Copycat Stella D'oro Anginetti Cookie Recipe
Ingredients
2 tablespoon Water
1 teaspoon anise
Lemon zest
3 eggs
1 Egg white
1 cup Water
1 cup All purpose flour
1 pinch Salt
Icing
1 cup Powdered sugar
4 tablespoon Granulated sugar
1 stick Butter
1 tsp anise
Instructions
Bring the butter and water to a boil.
When at a boil, take to a simmer and add the flour.
Stir til it comes into a ball
Transfer to a mixing bowl & add the eggs one a a time
Add the sugar and salt.
Put the dough in a pastry bag an pipe out circular shapes
Bake at 425 for 10 minutes
Turn the heat to 350 for 20 minutes
Turn the oven off and leave in for 45 minutes
Cool on the rack and top with icing glaze
