Ingredients

1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/4 cups sugar, divided
1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
8 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz cool whip, thawed
6 oz pkg strawberry jello mix
2 cups boiling water
20 oz frozen, sliced strawberries

Instructions

Dissolve jello mix in boiling water; add strawberries.
Place in refrigerator, and allow to soft-set so that it is spreadable, but not runny. (Watch closely, this is a very fine line)
Combine pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar, and butter.
Press into bottom of 13x9 inch pan.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Allow to cool completely.
Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
Fold in cool whip.
Spread over cooled crust.
Spread jello mixture over cream cheese mixture.
Allow to firm completely in refrigerator.
