Sauted Brussel Sprouts with Garlic and Parmesan

Ingredients

2-1/2 pounds brussel sprouts
2 Tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 large cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Coarsley ground black pepper
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

Trim stems from brussel sprouts and cut into thin slices, then separate with your fingers.

Melt butter and olive oil in large skillet. Add garlic and saute 2 minutes. Add brussel sprouts, saute until bright green and crisp-tender, about 3 minutes. Increase heat to high; add broth. Cover and cook about 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Place in serving bowl. Top with parmesan. Serve immediately.
