Oven-Style Sliced Potatoes

Ingredients

1-1/2 pound potatoes
1/4 cup butter
1 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 Tablespoons parmesan cheese

Instructions

Heat oven to 450 degrees.

Slice potatoes into 1/4-inch pieces and crop into cold water. Line pan with foil. Melt butter and add garlic and thyme. Distribute butter on cookie sheet. Drain potatoes and arrange slices in butter mixture, turning to coat both sides.

Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with parmesan. Continue baking until golden brown and crisp - 10 to 15 minutes or more.
