Dilly Beans

Ingredients

2 pounds trimmed green beans
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 clove garlic per pint
1-2 heads dill per pint

3-1/2 cups cider vinegar
2-1/2 cups water
1/4 cup canning salt

Instructions

Pack beans in jars along with garlic, dill and cayenne.

Bring vinegar, water and salt to boil. Pour over beans leaving 1/4-inch head space.

Put on lids. Invert to seal. Store in cool place.
