Maple Walnut Syrup
Ingredients
1 1/2 c light corn syrup1 c maple syrup
1/2 c water
1/2 c sugar (I used dark brown sugar)
2 c small walnut pieces
1 tsp maple flavoring optional
Instructions
Put all but the nuts in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until it thickens. add the nuts, stir and pour into clean hot 1/2 pint jars.
adjust lids and Process in boiling water bath for ten minutes. Take out allow to cool. Check lids and label
