Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients
12 whole fresh mushrooms
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 minced garlic clove
1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion flakes
pinch of ground cayenne pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Make sure mushrooms are clean – Take two mushrooms and finely chopped them and put to the side. 10 remaining mushrooms break off steams.
In a skillet heat oil – add garlic and chopped mushrooms. Cook for about 2 minutes – take skillet off heat and set aside to cool.
Stir in cream cheese, 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, pepper, cayenne, onion flakes – mix VERY well.
Fill each mushroom with a large amount of stuffing. Place stuffed mushroom on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle the rest of the parmesan cheese on each mushroom.
Bake for 20 minutes
