Ingredients

1 8zo package cream cheese
3 sticks of butter or margarine
3 cups sugar
1 ½ teaspoon of pure vanilla or almond extract (not imitation)
Dash of salt
6 large eggs
3 cups sifted all-purpose flour

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°. Mix butter and cream cheese until smooth. Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla or almond extract and a dash of salt and mix well. Add eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition. Turn mixer on low and add flour, about a cup at a time and mix well. Place in greased bundt or tube pan. Cook about 1-½ hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. I usually check after 1-¼ hours. Turn our on rack to cool.
