Grand Mother Evans Buns
Aunt Lou gave me Grams bun recipe. I am soooooo happy to have it. I never had the opportunity to meet her. She passed when I was a baby.
Ingredients
4 to 5 cups Flour2 pkgs. Dry yeast. Fleishmans. In a half cup
warm water. Let this rise in a bowl.
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup warm milk
2 tsp. salt
Instructions
Preheat oven 400 DegreesCream butter, sugar, and beatened eggs together. Add warm milk, salt and yeast. Add flour.
Let rise in a bowl.
Form raised dough into buns. Not too big, they raise in the oven from the heat.
MY NOTES
To make cinnamon buns, add a little more sugar and cinnamon, and raisins. When cool add basic icing.
