Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Ingredients

16 ounce can chocolate syrup
3/4 cup peanut butter
19 ice cream sandwiches
12 ounce frozen whipped topping
1 cup peanuts, roasted, unsalted

Instructions

Pour chocolate syrup into microwave safe bowl and microwave 2 minutes on high. Do not allow to boil. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Allow to cool at room temperature.

Line bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan with 8-1/2 ice cream sadwiches, cutting sandwiches to fit. Spread half of Cool Whip over sanwich layer. Spread half of the chocolate/peanut butter mixture over top. Top with half of the peanuts. Repeat layers.

Freeze until firm. At least 1 hour.
