Summer Berry Crisp

Ingredients

6 cups mixed berries
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Topping:
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
pinch salt
1/2 cup cold butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter 9-inch dish.

Combine berries with sugar, flour and cinnamon.

Combine oats, flour, sugars and salt. Cut in cold butter (with knives or food processor) until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add chopped nuts. Sprinkle evenly over berries.

Place on cookie sheet. Bake in center of oven until fruit bubbles and topping is golden brown, about an hour.
