White Chicken Chili
Ingredients
7 oz can diced green chilisMedium onion, chopped
4 Tbsp butter
5 cups chicken broth
2 tsp garlic (powder or fresh)
2 tsp cumin
3 tsp oregano
1 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
3 cans great northern beans, drained & rinsed
1 can corn, drained
2 cups grated Monterrey jack cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup flour
1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
Saute chilis and onion in butter until onion is translucent.Add seasoning and broth, then add chicken, beans and corn. Bring to boil, then simmer for 30 minutes.
Add cheese and sour cream. Bring back to boil, then simmer 20 minutes - stir constantly.
Whisk flour into broth, add to chili. Bring to boil, then simmer 5 minutes - stir constantly.
