Pesto Cream Sauce
Ingredients
1-1/2 cups fresh basil1 cup grated parmesan cheese
Heaping 1/3 cup pine nuts
4 cloves fresh garlic, peeled
2/3 cup extra virgin oilive oil
1 cup heavy cream
4 Tablespoons butter
Instructions
Place basil leaves, parmesan, pine nuts, salt and pepper to taste in food processor.Turn machine on to chop ingredients. Leaving machine on, slowly drizzle in olive oil and continue mixing until combined. Add additional olive oil if mixture seems dry or pasty. Set aside.
Heat cream and butter over medium-low heat. When warm add pesto and stir.
Pour pesto sauce over prepared food and serve immediately.
