Mexican Cornbread


2 boxes Jiffy Cornbread Mix
2 pounds ground beef
1 pkg Taco Seasoning
1/2 green chopped Bell Pepper
1/2 chopped Onion
2 tbs of chopped Jalapeno Peppers
1 can Cream Style Corn
1/2 block Mexican Velveeta sliced
2 cups Medium Cheddar Cheese shredded


Brown ground beef, drain, and add taco seasoning. Mix cornbread by instructions on box. Add cheddar cheese, jalapenos, corn, sauteed onions and bell peppers and stir. Heat small amount of oil in large iron skillet. Remove from heat and pour just enough cornbread mixture to cover bottom of skillet, layer ground beef and velveeta cheese, cover with remaining cornbread mixture. Bake 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
