Cinnamon Sugar Bread
This cinnamon sugar bread is like eating a cinnamon and sugar cake. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil1 1/3 cups sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
2 cups flour
1 tablespoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup oil of your choice (I used vegetable oil)
Instructions
In a small bowl combine 1/3 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon, stir together and set aside.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Oil 9x5x3” loaf pan sprinkle some of the cinnamon/sugar mixture onto sides and bottom.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 cup sugar; sift together to combine (I used my KitchenAid mixer with batter attachment).
In a small bowl whisk together egg, milk, oil, and vanilla extract; pour mixture into flour mixture and mix until combined.
Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan; sprinkle with half of the cinnamon/sugar mixture, add remaining batter, then sprinkle remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture on top.
Place in preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool pan on cooling rack for 10 minutes. Remove loaf and cool for another 10 minutes or so then slice and serve.
