Grilled Blackened Tilapia


3 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon onion powder
Pinch of garlic powder
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teasooon celery salt
1 tablespoon kosher salt
Olive oil
1 pound Tilapia fillets


Mix all dry ingredients together.

Wash and pat dry fish fillets. Lighty baste with olive oil. Coat fillets with spice mixture and allow to sit in refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour.

Preheat grill to medium high heat and spray with Pam grilling spray. Cook fillets 5 minutes per side or until fish can be flaked with fork.

Serve with lemon or lime wedges.
