Candy Pecans

Ingredients

3 cups whole Pecans
2 tbs butter (land of lakes)
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup water

Instructions

Place pecans on baking sheet. Bake pecans at 250° for 10 minutes. In heavy pot add sugar, salt, cinnamon and water. Bring to boil and cook on medium heat until soft ball stage. Remove from heat add vanilla and warm pecans and stir. Spread melted butter evenly on baking sheet and spread pecan mixture. Do not stir. Bake at 250° for 10 minutes. Remove and stir and bake another 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cook stirring occasionally.
