Blackened Chicken


6 chicken breast or strips
1 cup butter, melted
1 talblespoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon oregano


Mix all dry ingredients.

Rinse and pat dry chicken breast. Dip in butter and roll in dry mixture.

In non-stick skillet heat small amount of olive oil to almost smoking, add chicken, flip and cook until done.

Can also use for fish.
