Brussels Sprouts - Microwave
When time is too short to roast brussels sprouts, this microwave version is quick and delicious. I add cooked mushrooms and sausage to make a more flavorful and heartier side dish.
Ingredients
1-1/2 pounds brussels sprouts1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon celery salt (or to taste)
Pinch pepper
Parmesan/Romano cheese
1/2 cup finely crushed cornflakes (I used Rice Chex)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Optional - sautéed mushrooms, kielbasi or any sausage cut into bite sized pieces then browned
