Bread #1 - Soft Loaf
Makes 2 loaves
Ingredients
1-1/2 cup warm milk2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
4-5 cup bread flour
4-1/2 tsp (2 packet) dry yeast
Instructions
1. Bloom yeast.2. Warm milk until steamy but not bubbly.
3. Stand mixer, add warm milk, butter to melt, sugar, salt, 1 cup flour.
4. Add yeast to flour. Stir.
5. Add flour 2 cup at a time. Stir until dough forms.
6. Add flour 1/4 cup until shinny and silky.
7. Speed 2, 7 min until very soft but not wet / sticky.
8. Proof 1.5-2 hrs until double.
9. Shape 2 loaves. Place in oiled bread pan. Proof until slightly over top, about 1 hr.
10. Bake 350F, 30-35 min.
11. Brush top with butter with hot.
