Bread #4 - Buttery Loaf
Ingredients
1-1/3 cup milk, lukewarm6 tbsp butter, softened
4 cup bread flour
2 tbsp sugar
1-1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 tsp instant yeast
vegetable oil to grease
Instructions
1. Add milk, then everything else with yeast last in the flour. Do not ouch liquid.2. Speed 2, 7 to 10 minutes, dough hook.
3. Roll over to grease dough surface, proof in greased bowl 60-90 min until double.
4. Flour surface, punch down to 1" flat rectangle, swiss roll it up.
5. Place in bread pan, push down to fill edges.
6. Brush top with grease. 2nd proof 60-90 min until 2-3 sec rebound at finger poke.
7. Preheat 350F belt dough is ready.
8. Bake 37-42 min until 190-200F.
9. Baste with melted butter.
10. Let cool on wire rack 2 hr before slicing.
