Auntie Ann Evans Porketto *****
Auntie Annie gave this recipe to me. She gave me one of these sandwiches on our way down to Pennsylvania, and I loved them.
Ingredients
6-7 lbs pork butt2 bulbs of garlic, cleaned
12 sprigs of Dill or more
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup of water
1 Jar sweet relish
1 pkg hamburger buns
Instructions
1 Make slits all over pork with knife2 Press garlic clove and sprig of Dill in each slit
3 Take 1.2 of the bunch of dill and place in the slot where the bone was removed. Also 1/2 bulb of cleaned garlic
4 Rub the roast with the olive oil
5 Cover and roast in oven 350 degrees for about 3to5 hours or until it falls apart.
6 Cool and shred by hand
7 Serve on hamburger bun with a little sweet pickle relish
