Marg's Answer For Leftover Pie Dough
Even though my cousins always called my Mom Auntie Margie her siblings always called her Marg, and as a remembrance of them I am using Marg on all of her recipes
My Mom used to make pumpkin pies and apple pies from scratch. when she cut out her pie dough, she would cut the dough in strips. A great treat followed. Joe and I liked to help. We liked eating them too!!!
Ingredients
Left over pie doughSoftened butter
Sugar
Cinnamon
Instructions
Cut pie dough into strips 1 to 1 1/2 inches.Spread softened butter lightly over each strip.
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on to the buttered strips.
Roll each into a pin wheel
Place on lightly greased baking sheet
Bake along with you pie
Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy
