Apple Pie Eggroll
Ingredients
2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced2 tbsp butter
1 pinch salt
1/3 c sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
eggroll wrappers
a small bowl of water
frying oil
Instructions
Peel and dice your apples making sure all pieces are small in sizeCook apples down in a saucepan with but butter, salt, sugar, and cinnamon. While cooking the apples, bring your frying oil to temperature. 350 degrees
Once cooked let the apple mixture cool down enough to work with it
Fill the eggroll wrappers with the apple mixture, making sure not to fill them too much or the filling will leak out while frying
Use water to wet the edge of the eggroll wrapper before you close it. This will act as a seal to keep the eggroll shut
Fry the eggrolls for 2-3 minutes each, making sure to turn them on all sides to ensure even browning
Remove the eggrolls from the oil and let cool
