Linda Moussiaux's Cream of Broccoli Soup
Ingredients
2 TBS. Vegetable oil3/4 cups choppd onions
6 cups water
6 Chicken Boullion Cubes
8 oz. fine egg noodles
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp Garlic powder
1lb Velveeta cheese cubed
6 cups milk
2(10oz) pkgs frozen chopped broccoli
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Instructions
SAUTE: 1/4 cup chopped onions in 2Tbs vegetable oil (for 3-4 minutes.ADD: 6 cups water and 6 boulion cubes, heat to boil, stir until cubes dissolve
ADD GRADUALLY: 8 oz. fine egg noodles and 1 tsp salt. Cook uncovered 3 minutes stirring occasionally.
STIR IN AND COOK: 2 10oz pkgs. Frozen chopped broccoli and 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
ADD: 6 cups milk and 1 lb. velvetta cheese, fresh ground black pepper to taste. Cook until cheese melts
