Apple Pie (Mama E)
Ingredients
125 g butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup self raising flour
Pie filling:
425 g can desert apple/or cooked apple slice (4 pcs)
dates, raisins
1 tsp grated lemon rind
extra sugar
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar, add egg, beat well. Stir in sifter flour in two batches. Turn onto lightly flour surface, knead lightly till smooth, divide in half, refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll each piece into a 20 cm round between 2 sheets of plastic food wrap or grease proof paper. Press one circle of dough into the tin. Bake at 375 F.
