Chocolate Fudge Cake
Ingredients
Cake:2 cups water
3 cups caster sugar
250 g butter (chopped)
1 tsp baking soda
3 cups self raising flour
4 eggs lightly beaten
1/3 cup chocolate powder
Fudge Frosting:
90 g butter
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 cup icing sugar
1/3 cup chocolate powder
Instructions
Cake:Combine water, caster sugar, butter, baking soda, chocolate powder in a large pan, cook on medium heat until dissolved. Cool 15 minutes. In separate bowl mix egg and sifted flour and then combine with the mixture. Beat with mixer till thick. Bake 50 minutes on 400 F preheat oven.
Frosting:
Combine butter, water, caster sugar. Cook on the low heat till dissolved. Cool 15 minutes. Add shifted chocolate and icing sugar, mix well till thick. Refrigerate 1/2 hour. Spread over the cake
