Cheese & Nut Cookies (Mama E)
Ingredients
200 g flour
175 g butter
100 g icing sugar
100 g nuts (cashew, almond, pecan, hazelnut) chopped
2tbs castor sugar
2 egg yolks (stir)
grated cheese
Instructions
Mix flour, butter, icing sugar together using the fork. Then place the dough to the (buttered) tray, press to form 1/2 cm. Smear egg yolk on the top of dough, spread the castor sugar, nuts, cheese. Bake at 175 C. When cookies half baked, cut to square 3 x 7 cm. And bake again.
