Swedish Meatballs over bowtie pasta
Ingredients2lb ground beef
3 slices wheat bread minced and soaked in milk
½ C buttermilk
¼ C minced onion
1 Tsp or more of salt/pepper/nutmeg/garlic/beef bouillon/parsley to taste.
1 T Flour
1 C milk
1 C water
1 Box Bowtie pasta cooked and drained.
InstructionsMix First 6 ingredients till blended and roll into meat balls. Brown meat balls until light brown, then set aside on plate while you make the sauce. Add flour to the pan drippings and whisk. Add milk and water whisking continually until sauce begins to thicken.
I like to cook baby carrots as a side.
