Cherry Crunch Pie
Ingredients
1/2 c. butter, softened1 c. brown sugar or splenda
1 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal
1 can cherry pie filling
1 cup walnuts or pecans
Opt cup coconut in topping
Opt crushed pineapple in filling
Opt drops of Almond extract to filling for extra flavor.
Instructions
Mix first four ingredients together.Use 1/2 of mixture as a pie crust, pack firm in a pie plate.
Add cherries on top of crust.
Sprinkle other 1/2 of mix on top. Add nuts
Bake 30 minutes or until brown on top at 350 degrees.
If you use splenda add a couple of TBSP of honey to add some natural sweetness, or more honey so no need to add any sugars at all.
