Banana Caramel Cream Pie
Ingredients
1 baked pie shell1 can condensed milk
3-4 very fresh bananas
1/2 C chopped walnuts
1 small tub cool whip
Instructions
First you have to make the caramel. Simply unwrap can of condensed milk and throw the paper away. Take can and place in a water bath by putting the can in a large pot of water and boil can in water bath for 4 hours. DONT LET WATER BOIL OUT. After 4 hours take tongs and remove can to place to cool for an hour.Prepare the pie.
Take prebaked pie shell and spread with 1/2 can homemade caramel. Add nuts and sliced bananas. Cover with rest of caramel and then cool whip.
I always boil 2-4 cans when I make these pies just so that I can make several pies or have caramel for other recipes.

NOTE......OR you can replace the 1 can of condensed milk for one jar of sugar free caramel sauce by smuckers. Tastes like the real thing and you dont have to make the caramel. Just skip down to "Prepare pie".
