Fresh Strawberry Pie
Ingredients
1 qt strawberriesClean and slice.
1 c sugar
2 tbsp white Karo syrup
3 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
1 c water
Instructions
Cook sugar, syrup, cornstarch and water until thick. When thick, add 2 tbsp strawberry jello. Stir until dissolved.Pour over strawberries in cooled shell.
Crust:
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 c mazolla oil
pinch of salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp vinegar
Pat our in pie pan.
Bake @ 325 degrees about 30 minutes.
