Custard Frosting
Ingredients
1 c sugar
2 envelopes Knox gelatin
1/2 tsp salt
2 c milk
6 egg yolks
2 c cool whip
2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Combine first 5 ingredients (mix milk & egg yolks first, beat well) Cook in 2 qt saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until it begins to boil. then cool in freezer or refrigerator until it sets up. Then add cool whip & vanilla. Beat w/mixer. Frost cake.
