Sweet Dill Pickles
Ingredients
1 jar (1 quart) store bought dill pickle slices2 c sugar
2/3 cup cider vinegar
Instructions
Remove lid of pickle jar and turn jar upside down in a colander in the sink. While the liquid is draining off, combine sugar and vinegar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir and continue to boil for 2 minutes. The developing syrup should be clear.Turn the drained jar of pickles right side up. Leaving pickles in the original jar, pour the syrup over the drained pickles. Recap with the original lid.
Turn upside down on the counter until the next day. Then turn right side up for a day. Turn over each day for a total of 3 days. Refrigerate and enjoy!
